Selective targeting
Procyanidin C1 recognised senescent cells and acted on them while leaving healthy cells largely untouched.
The science
Researchers looking into why Mediterranean populations live longer keep returning to procyanidins — the polyphenols in grape seeds, olive oil and dark chocolate. PCC1™ concentrates these compounds and pairs them with a delivery system built to help them absorb.
The problem
As we age, damaged cells stop clearing and start to linger. These senescent “zombie” cells release inflammatory signals that wear on the healthy tissue around them — the way one bad apple spoils the bunch.
Senolytics are compounds that support the body’s natural clearance of these cells. Procyanidins are among the most studied of them.

Nature Metabolism, 2021
A team publishing in Nature Metabolism tested procyanidin C1 and reported three results worth knowing.
Procyanidin C1 recognised senescent cells and acted on them while leaving healthy cells largely untouched.
64%
In mice already old when treatment began — 24 to 27 months, roughly 70 human years — maximum lifespan rose by 64%.
Treated aged mice showed measurable gains in strength and physical performance.
This was a preclinical study in mice, and human clinical trials are ongoing. PCC1™ gives you access to the same compound the researchers studied. Read the Nature study
The formula
Three procyanidins in a considered ratio, built for absorption. Findings about isolated procyanidin C1 informed the formula; PCC1™ is the finished product you take.
Trimer
The primary active. A grape-seed trimer studied for its effect on senescent cells.
Dimer
A dimer that works alongside C1. Abundant in cocoa and apples.
Monomer
A monomer that rounds out the blend. Found in dark chocolate and green tea.
Procyanidins are notoriously hard for the body to absorb, and high-dose botanical extracts are difficult to keep clean. PCC1™ uses a purified isolate in a phospholipid (phytosome) complex. In our measurements, that delivery format achieves about 5.7× better bioavailability than standard grape-seed extract.
The difference
Most procyanidin supplements are ground grape-seed extract in a capsule. PCC1™ takes a different route.
Laboratory reports for the tested material are published on the quality page.
The protocol
Senolytics are studied as short, spaced pulses rather than daily doses. PCC1™ is one 30-day cycle: three days on, then twenty-seven days of rest.
Take one sachet — three capsules — once daily, with food and water.
Take nothing further. Let your body respond over the rest of the cycle.
One 30-day cycle per box. Speak with a qualified healthcare professional if you take medication, have a medical condition, or are pregnant or breastfeeding.

PCC1™ is a food supplement, not a medicine, and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.
